upfrontNY: How did you get your start in music?
BadMoodRude: One day my grandma asked me to make her a song so I did and it just took off from there!
upfrontNY: Who were some of your musical inspirations?
BadMoodRude: I’m not inspired by other artists as much as I am emotions, I need to be feeling something to be able to write my music.
upfrontNY: How would you describe your music?
BadMoodRude: I think my music is something you can listen to for whatever mood you’re in! It’s all over the place because my music is emotionally driven.
upfrontNY: Can you tell us about your single “Novocaine”?
BadMoodRude: Novocaine is about any toxic relationship you may have, whether it’s a friend, family member or significant other.
upfrontNY: What was it like working with MOD SUN?
BadMoodRude: He’s literally awesome, genuinely one of the nicest people!
upfrontNY: What is it like to share your music?
BadMoodRude: I love sharing my music, I always appreciate what other people have to say.
upfrontNY: How does it feel to have others supporting you and following along with your musical journey?
BadMoodRude: It’s honestly the best feeling, I love that my music helps me get through hard times also helps other people!
upfrontNY: What are you most looking forward to when it comes to performing?
BadMoodRude: Getting over my stage fright hahaha
upfrontNY: What is your dream venue, city, or country to one day perform?
BadMoodRude: I honestly don’t have a specific place that would be my dream, just whenever people hearing my music would make a difference is where I want to play.
upfrontNY: 2020 is around the corner. What are some of your goals for the new year?
BadMoodRude: My goal for 2020 is to finally tour!
