Diane D’Apolito-May’s life was completely changed after suffering from a central brainstem stroke in 1994. The stroke left her physically incapable of speech or movement. Diane worked to regain her physical capabilities and met many others who had been affected by catastrophic illness or injury.
This experience inspired the Beyond the Rainbow Foundation. This foundation helps raise funds to help others who have also gone through similar experiences.
One way that this organization raises money, is through fundraisers. On March 19th the 20th Annual Benefit Dinner Dance will be held at The Bethwood in Totowa, NJ. The night will be filled with dinner, dancing, and raising money for a great cause.
