The holidays are on their way and what better way to get ready to celebrate than a new Hallmark Channel holiday movie! Melissa Joan Hart and Dean Cain will star together in the film, Broadcasting Christmas.
Melissa Joan Hart plays, Emily Morgan a small town news anchor. When she finds out that her former colleague Charlie Fisher (Dean Cain) who also happens to be a former flame is up for a job as co-host of a popular network morning show. Emily decides to go for it and compete for the job too!
They begin to compete, fighting for the attention and love of the audience until they are asked to cover a story together. Will they just compete for a job, or something more, perhaps a spark they thought they had lost?
We had a chance to talk to Jackée Harry who plays Veronika in the film.
On playing the role of Veronica: “She is a career woman, a strong career woman who is in charge and is trying to help Melissa Joan Hart’s character be a strong successful woman in her career as well as in love.”
On working with the Hallmark Channel: “Everybody is so nice and there was no drama, just nice and easy and quick. They didn’t mess around and took very good care of us. Everyone was so pleasant.”
On working with the Cast: Jackée described Dean as witty, clever, and a gentleman and Melissa Joan Hart as a sweet individual and loving, helpful, and generous in her scenes.”
On why should everyone tune in: “Melissa is so beloved. She was in a lot of shows that I love. They remember her from Clarissa explains it all years ago. ”
She also told us that, “They will see two real people and Cynthia Gibb, who is a great girl and actress. It was great working with 3 top level actors. That is what they will see, professionals at their best.”
