Nesta! recently released her new single “Better Now.” As a singer-songwriter and electronic dance music artist, Nesta! brings the love through her music and all areas of her life.
Not only does she have experience as an artist working on her music with people all over the world, but she is also a successful wellness coach, a surfer, and a passionate animal activist who runs her own non-profit rescue organization called “Let Love Rule Animal Rescue”. She has a fun and playful style and radiates love.
After a near death experience from a ruptured appendix, Nesta! took the experience and has changed her outlook on life. “You think you have tons of time. The human experience is so precious. I live my life, in love with almost every moment, because I am here.”

BookCon 2015
Book lovers of all ages gathered to celebrate a love of reading at BookCon 2015. The event took place at the Javitz Center in NYC on May 30th and 31st.
We had the chance to attend on Sunday and what a great day it was! Everywhere you turned you saw people of all ages carrying bags and bags of books, either they received free, won through raffles, bought, and many that were signed by some of their favorite authors. Several even brought suitcases to make for an easy transfer of books after the convention.
Throughout the day there were panels, speakers, and signings.
There were several authors in attendance including several children’s authors, authors of young adult novels, adult novels, and even authors for some of the spicier books. There were several genres covered and spread throughout the convention.
There were lines everywhere with fans waiting excited to meet some of their favorites including; Candace Bushnell, Jodi Picoult, John Leguizamo, and Khloe Kardashian.
It was great meeting and speaking with so many talented authors. We even had the chance to interview children’s author and illustrator, Mike Berenstain.
After wandering the floors through BookCon, hours had passed and we were still finding new experiences and people to talk to. Several fans were dressed up as their favorite characters and we even saw a few of our favorite walking around including; The Cat in the Hat, Captain Underpants, Garfield, and Junie B. Jones.
There were even chances to have your picture taken both in photo booths and life size cutouts.
One of our favorite outfits of the day was a book inspired dress and bracelet!
BookCon was well organized, and a day of excitement. This is a great convention that you do not want to miss next year!
