Hailey Knox performed at The Loft at City Winery in NYC on Thursday night. This is her first headlining tour. We were blown away by her performance. She sang from her soul and we felt it.
She opened up her set with “Bitch, Bitch, Bitch.” Her set included “Traumatized”, “Don’t Got One”, “Fake A Laugh”, “Geeks”, and “Take It or Leave It”.
Throughout her performance she sang a variety of great mash-ups and covers including Louis The Child’s “It’s Strange”, Beyonce’s “Halo”, and Chris Stapleton’s “Tennessee Whiskey” to name a few.
During the performance, Hailey took a moment to share a special moment for her mother, singing Happy Birthday.Towards the end of her performance Hailey performed “Hardwired”, a song that she had written with her friend Maggie. “Hardwired” was featured on the show Grey’s Anatomy. This was a beautiful song that instantly captivated us while pulling at our heartstrings.
Hailey then brought up Julius Rodriguez to play piano while she sang a cover of D’Angelo’s “Really Love”.
Hailey Knox is an artist you should keep your eye on. With a natural talent and an obvious passion for music, we can’t wait to see all the wonderful things that come along for her.
