Recently we got the chance to interview some of the guys from Las Vegas’ Aussie Hunks. The group is taking Male Revue shows to the next level! They have been receiving rave reviews about their show including being number 1 rated in Vegas on yelp. Aside from the show, the men have their own 360 degree lap dance videos, giving viewers the chance to get a lap dance from the guy in the privacy of their own home. The guys even have their own currency for the show, Aussie Hunk Bucks!
The guys told us that the group has been around for a while. Darren, one of the co-owners and a stripper from Melbourne had seen several of the typical revue shows and had an idea. “His idea was to put together a show that had guys that not only look good and have good bodies, but also are professional dancers. Back in Australia he sought out the guys he wanted and he went from there. He put the crew together and we rehearsed it in Melbourne specifically for Vegas.”
All of the guys have experience as dancers from classes or professional dancing, but they did not all have stripping experience. “Not everyone had done this type of dancing before. For some of us, it was something very new and different.”
The men of Aussie Hunks perform in Las Vegas. “It is amazing. We had a conversation the other day with all the boys reflecting on the last year and how lucky we are to wake up everyday in Vegas and perform for 500 screaming girls at night. That is our life now.”
Wonder what you can expect from the show? “We have pioneered male revues with strip hop. Our show is very tasteful, respectfully raunchy, and a bunch of guys who can dance really well. It is not just good-looking guys thrusting their hips on stage, it’s guys who are amazing dancers as well as being handsome. It is a lot of fun and interactive. It sets us apart from other male revues here. There are stages in the show where performers will move into the crowd and the audience members will have an opportunity to get a lap dance from the performers. We don’t discriminate in our show. We are supportive of the LGBT community. We are happy to dance on anyone. Anybody waving some dollars around to tip a performer, will get a dance from the guys. We just want all our guests to have fun.”
The guys have had so many fun, funny, and interesting experiences during the show. Chad told us about one of his memorable experiences, “I was lap dancing on a girl once and five of her friends stood up, grabbed my hands behind my back and held them there. The girl I was lap dancing on started unbuttoning my pants trying to pull my pants down and started licking my belly. I had to look over to Simon and call for help.”
If you want your chance to meet the guys, stick around after the performance! “After the show, we go to a bar right next to the theatre. Every single one of the performers will come to the bar to mingle with the guests. Any guests who were at the show have the opportunity to come down and have a drink and chat with us.”
Not only are these guys having fun treating audience members to a night they won’t forget, but they are also giving back. Many of the men support charities back home and they have been working in Las Vegas with the charity, Opportunity Village,a non-profit organization serving children and adults in the southern Nevada community with intellectual disabilities to enhance their lives and the lives of their families. Some of the men will go teach dance classes to the people of Opportunity Village as well as donating money to the organization.
The guys have some exciting things in the works. They recently did a virtual reality filming where people can go on the Aussie Hunks’ YouTube and get a lap dance from the guys. They are also currently working on planning a USA tour.
