upfrontNY: What do you love most about acting?
Liam Carroll: It gives me the chance to be funny and I like pretending to be a different person for a while. I can be goofy and then I can go back to being myself.
upfrontNY: Can you tell us about your new show, The Detour?
Liam Carroll: It is a very funny show about a family vacation that starts out being a great idea but then falls apart badly. Actually, it never started out as a great idea. You have to see the show to get it, you’ll like it!
upfrontNY: What did you enjoy most about playing Jared?
Liam Carroll: He is a funny character that let me be me without the consequences.

upfrontNY: What was the best part of filming this show?
Liam Carroll: Spending time with the cast and crew. I had so much fun between scenes hanging out with the producers, directors, ADs, grips and all of the other people on set. They made my time shooting a blast. The show premiering soon on April 11th.
upfrontNY: Who will you be watching with?
Liam Carroll: My family and friends. I am a little nervous so I don’t want too many people around.
upfrontNY: If you could take a road trip anywhere, where would you want to go and who would you go with?
Liam Carroll: I would love to rent an RV and just drive around the country for two weeks with no particular destination in mind. I think it would be fun to see the country by car and to sleep in the car!

Favorite thing to do when you are not acting: I love to do jumps, flips, and tricks on the trampoline.
Favorite food: Steak and BBQ ribs. I wouldn’t turn sushi away either.
Favorite movie: I love Talladega Nights… “SHAKE AND BAKE”
Favorite color: Orange
Favorite singer or song: I like trap music with no particular artist or song being my favorite.
