We had the opportunity to attend a screening of The Story of God with Morgan Freeman hosted by National Geographic Channel and Morgan Freeman.

The evening started with the red carpet.

The event took place at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P Rose Hall, Time Warner Center. Following the red carpet was a screening of the first episode of The Story of God with Morgan Freeman. The National Geographic series is a six part series taking viewers on a trip around the world while exploring different cultures and religions. The journey discusses the meaning of life, God, and all the questions in between.  The episode that was screened was the premiere episode, What Happens When We Die? 

Guests then gathered together for a reception in the beautiful Appel Room. Each guest was gifted with a canvas bag and inside was a National Geographic Magazine, a special edition of USA Today, and The Spirituality Book.
