Timothy Colombos is a young actor from Manhasset, NY where he is a student of NY’s “Actor’s Garage” and coach Ann Graf.
Timothy can be seen playing Ethan on Nickelodeon’s “W.I.T.S Academy.” Ethan is an energetic and funny wizard. Timothy spent the summer filming the show with the cast in Miami. “W.I.T.S Academy” premiered on October 5th and can now be seen on Nickelodeon!
Recently we got to ask Timothy some questions about the show, Miami, and some of his “favorites.”
upfrontNY: What is the best part of playing Ethan in “W.I.T.S. Academy?”
Timothy Colombos: The best part is that Ethan is a fun character because he is funny and a lot like me, except he is a little clueless!
upfrontNY: What was it like spending the summer filming in Miami?
Timothy Colombos: It was awesome because the cast and crew were amazing and we became a family. We spent a lot of time laughing and hanging out in each other’s dressing rooms. On our days off we did really cool things together like going to the Everglades!
upfrontNY: If you were a wizard in real life what powers would you want to have?
Timothy Colombos: I would want to be invisible because I could have a lot of fun with that. It would also be really great to teletransport to wherever I want to go so I don’t have to sit in traffic or go to the airport again.
upfrontNY: How did you get involved with acting?
Timothy Colombos: I kept asking my parents to take me to a class because I always wanted to do it and I started going to improv classes at Actor’s Garage and I loved it.
upfrontNY: What did you enjoy most about growing up in Manhasset?
Timothy Colombos: I like how nice and supportive everyone is. It’s a small town so you can get together with your friends easily and you feel comfortable wherever you go. It’s also super close to NYC, which is great!

Thing you do when you are not acting- Shooting hoops outside, playing in my basement or in my room. Shooting funny videos with my big brother.
